I express the flavors that surround me through
a mythological tale
Seasonality is the cornerstone of my cuisine: ingredients dictate the menu, chosen with care from small local producers, in harmony with nature’s cycles. At the heart of my creations lies the plant world, elevated to its highest expression.
I favor quick cooking methods, such as embers and marinades, preserving the purity and intensity of flavors.Yet above all, taste remains the ultimate principle: a dish must first stir the senses, without neglecting the aesthetics, to which I devote meticulous attention.

Each dish is a symphony of subtle details, where creative freedom enhances local flavors, often celebrating vegetables as the absolute protagonist.
The beauty and grandeur of Villa Elena play an essential role in shaping my dishes: I seek inspiration in the elegance of this place
An elegant villa of Renaissance origins renovated in the early twentieth century with an eclectic taste that combines Baroque and Liberty style inspirations.
In Bergamo in the Upper Town Enrico Bartolini has chosen Villa Elena, formerly Villa Rumi: a prestigious and historic building, much loved by the people of Bergamo and beyond, in the highest part of the ancient city. It is in this elegant context that chef Galtarossa expresses the flavors that surround him in a mythological tale. The kitchen interprets the wonderful local ingredients with modern taste, from the first fruits of the Bergamo gardens to the cheeses of the valleys and the meats.
There are three rooms available to guests: a frescoed hall with five tables and two private rooms, both decorated and with a fireplace, seating up to 6 and up to 8. Outside, a large terrace where you can eat outdoors in the summer. All around are secular trees as yew trees, magnolias and cedars of Lebanon and a large park that develops on different levels connected by stairways and paths, like in a small Versailles...
